Annual NHRTL
Members Meeting / Elections
The New Hampshire Right to Life [NHRTL]
annual members meeting
will convene at the office in Bedford on Friday,
November 13th, starting
at 7:30 PM. The prime meeting business
will be to elect five (5) trustees
for three year terms to the fifteen
member volunteer board of trustees.
Active participants with NHRTL are
eligible to serve as Trustees.
All those who have supported NHRTL in the past year, as a volunteer,
financially, or as a participant in an NHRTL event are encouraged to
attend and vote for the incoming trustees.

Public Session to Alert the Public!!
Take Actions to Keep Catholic Medical Center
a Pro-life Healthcare Facility in NH:
Manchester Public Library on Monday,
May 11th, 6:30 to 8:30
The Honorable Kathy Souza, NHRTL Legislative Chair, and the Honorable
Barbara Hagan will lead a public meeting to inform interested citizens
about the proposed Catholic Medical Center [CMC]-Dartmouth Hitchcock [D-H]
liaison and our concerns for pro-life healthcare in New Hampshire.
NHRTL works to ensure that pro-life healthcare is available in our state
and thus is very concerned with the proposed affiliation. D-H is part of a
network in Lebanon, N.H, with ties to Dartmouth Medical School and
Mary-Hitchcock Hospital.
D-H has a record of involvement with abortion -- performing, referring
for, prescribing abortifacients, training doctors in abortion, opposing
both NHRTL and the Catholic Diocese before the N. H. legislature on both
beginning-of-life and end-of-life issues, is involved with fertility
programs that are anti-life -- selective reduction, embryonic stem-cell
research, advocates for the destruction of "unfit" embryos, etc.
That CMC, a Catholic pro-life hospital which shares the pro-life
principles of NHRTL, would entertain a liaison with one whose pro-life
ethics are diametrically opposed, is a grave concern. We've fought
this battle before [remember Optima] and won, but we need many people
informed and active.
Please attend this highly informative session at the Manchester Public
Library on Monday, May 11th, 6:30 to 8:30

Planned Parenthood:
Implore your Legislators to PASS HB486 !!
FULL NH HOUSE VOTES MARCH 4!!
Please call your state reps about the bill listed below, HB486, to defund
Planned Parenthood!
You can find your NH State Reps, by town, listed here:

This will only take a few minutes of your time and is extremely important.
Please tell them you live in their district, and want HB486 passed..
HB486 is, "AN ACT prohibiting the department of Health and Human Services
from entering into a contract with Planned Parenthood Federation of
America, Inc. or any organization that provides abortion services."
It has already had a House Committee hearing. A full House vote is
expected later in February, so please call your Representatives ASAP.
This bill prohibits the Dept. of Health and Human
Services from entering into a contract with Planned Parenthood or like
organizations. It is a VERY GOOD bill that we need PASSED !!
Talking points from www.all.org/stopp:
Keep the focus of this fight on Planned Parenthood government funds.
Do not burden your efforts to stop funding with the additional task of
ending abortion. Planned Parenthood will do everything possible to
make this an abortion fight. It will claim that you are only against
Planned Parenthood because of its abortion advocacy. Although we abhor the
over 4 million abortions since 1970 done in Planned Parenthood facilities
that is not the focus of this fight. The focus of this fight
is to stop government funds from going to Planned Parenthood.
The leaders of the fight in your community should make it clear to the
elected officials that a vote against Planned Parenthood funding will not
be recorded as a "pro-life" vote. It will in fact, be recognized
for what it is, a vote to keep government funds from a controversial
organization that is not supported by many in the community. People
have been successful in framing the vote in this way and, as a result,
many elected officials who describe themselves as "pro-choice" vote
against funds to Planned Parenthood. Some elected officials who personally
donate money to Planned Parenthood have voted against public funds to the
organization! Your government officials have no obligation to fund Planned
Parenthood. They can vote to deny funds to the organization. When Planned
Parenthood claims it is illegal to discriminate against it, ask your local
officials if they would seriously consider giving government money to the
Ku Klux Klan to run an educational program for black children, or if they
would give money to the American Nazi Party for a parade. Of course they
wouldn't. Well, they have just as much right to deny funds to Planned
Parenthood.

WEEKLY PRO-LIFE WITNESS IN CONCORD
Pro-lifers are earnestly witnessing against abortion at the
so-called "Concord
Feminist Health Center", 38 South Main Street in Concord.
This is the most visible killing
center in the state. The witness emphasis is
on Thursdays, and while additional times occur, new pro-life helpers
should come by from 3pm to 4pm on Thursdays. Come for a few minutes or longer.
It is better to "gather two" or more, so please do not witness alone.
Your prayers and presence can make the difference to a mom in trouble and
a baby in jeopardy.

Every Thursday pro-life
witness to abortionist Wayne Goldner
Dedicated NH pro-lifers have consistently witnessed against the
practices of abortionist Wayne Goldner. He is by far the most vocal
and belligerent abortionist in New Hampshire, so Jeannie Szulc leads a
protest at his offices every Thursday from 2pm to 3pm. 150 Terry Town Road,
Manchester. Recently, a woman stopped to report that her
granddaughter is alive and well, and thanked Jeannie for her faithful
witness that helped change the mind of the abortion-bound mother.
Bring your own signs our use some of ours to implore women not to succumb to
the taunting invitations of this abortionist Wayne Goldner.

Beginning at 11am on Fridays, you are invited to participate in an hour of
prayer and mediation to foster respect for the sacredness of human life from
conception to natural death, and for an increase in vocations to the
priesthood. The location is St. Patrick's, 29 Spring Street,
Nashua. The hour of silent and communal prayer will conclude with the
celebration of the Eucharist at 12:05. For more information,
